Sweet & Spicy Best-Ever Snack Mix
Ingredients
Equal parts of the following:
- Sesame sticks
- Everything sesame sticks
- Honey roasted peanuts
- Roasted salted almonds
- Butter toffee peanuts
- Wasabi peas
And a double part of:
- Mini pretzels
The finished quantity of this recipe is really up to you. I usually make a 2-quart batch, using 1 cup of each ingredient and 2 cups of pretzels, and store it in an 11-cup food storage container. If you don’t even want the hassle of measuring, just eyeball it and pour in ingredients based on what looks good. You really can’t mess it up! If you like it sweeter, add more butter toffee peanuts. If you want more spiciness, add more wasabi peas.
Directions:
- Pour everything into a food storage container. Snap on the lid, and shake gently to mix well. That’s it! It really can’t get easier than this!
This recipe is perfect for portioning into smaller food storage bags and taking with you on your next nature hike. It also makes a great road trip snack. The blend of unique and unusual flavors makes this absolutely delicious (don’t be afraid to grab a handful with a little of everything in it! You’d be surprised how well the butter toffee peanuts go with the wasabi peas!). Plus, it easily stores in the pantry and won’t take up fridge space in your new or used RV.
